Toilet Paper Roll Mini albums

Now, if your anything like me when you read this title you thought "what? and then why?" Well let me tell you these are not only cute, they are a great way to recycle! I have watched a few videos on you tube and took a little from each video and added a few tricks of my own. I think my added steps really make a big difference so I will be adding my own tutorial very soon. For now you can just look at my finished albums. Keep in mind I made these for other scrapbookers so they will add the pictures and journaling when they get these. Also all of the tabs pull out and have space for pictures and journaling they are covered on both sides. I will get more pics up soon!

These can be used as card holders, photo holders and even used to hold name tags oon a table. These are the large 2" binder clips so they can hold items without falling over.

Shayla's Ribbon Rings- I decided to make my own ribbon rings out of old water bottles. It's a great way to save money and recycle. I started with a one gallon water bottle. I cut it into pieces skipping the handle and bottom (these you can actually recycle in your plastic bin) this is what they look like all cut up..

2.I then cut smaller strips (you can make them any size you want) and used my corner rounder to smooth the edges.. You don't want anything to be rough. At the top Middle position punch a large hole. remember these will need to fit on a 2" ring.
3. Using a hand punch with two lines I punched out lines in the middle of the plastic.. you can make them as long as you want but do not go to close to the edges. I then made a third line so I could tuck the ribbon under. Make sure you line up the lines evenly for best results. 4. I then laced my ribbon through, for most two ribbons will fit however on the thick ones only one will fit.
5. I then add them to my ring and continue with the next set. this pic shows two on a ring.

I am making this as I go so you don't have to wait till I am done. I plan on making 70, so I will update with a finished pic. Feel free to ask any questions or leave a comment. TFL! Shayla~

All the embellies are 3-d including the snowflakes. I cut them with my cricut and layered them with 3-d dots. here is a side view of the snowflakes.

These are fun little letters that we will swap to make a full word, I only make one letter of the word and other ladies make one of each other letter, when we swap we all have one full word. Just a few, I wll show a pic of the full words after we swap!

My Mini albums

BasicGrey's "Euphoria" line

I also used the storybook cartridge and lots of stickles!

This is the story of dh and I the first 5 years.

It reads "Once upon a time..... a wish came true"

I covered the album with pp DCWV Christmas stack, and then added ribbon and embellies, I added stickles to most of the flowers and santa. I inked te edges of all the pp and titles.
